Kenneth Lally, SimuTech Group Owner & Director

Rick James, Dr.Eng
Chief Executive Officer

Responsibilities: Leads SimuTech Group's vision, culture, and growth strategy.

Education:
Southern Methodist University - Doctor of Engineering, Engineering Management; BS & MS, Mechanical Engineering

Background:
Rick brings 25 years of engineering experience in mechanical and electrical design performing product development consulting, training, and expert witness. He is an expert in fatigue and fracture mechanics and has been invited to speak on several topics including Digital Twin Methodologies and Simulation Workflow. He serves on the Mechanical Engineering Industrial Advisory Board at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. At SimuTech, he leads our North American team and is focused on proliferating simulation driven product development methodologies.

Katie Lally, SimuTech Group Owner and Director of Marketing & Sales Enablement

Katie Lally
Owner and Chief Revenue Officer

Responsibilities: In addition to her role as majority owner, Katie directs all aspects of strategic Marketing, Sales, and Human Resources. She leads Sales Enablement initiatives including sales onboarding, training, and resources. Along with SimuTech Group's Strategic Leadership Team, leads the company's vision, mission, and overall strategy.

Education:
James Madison University, BS, Communications Studies

Background: Katie brings over 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the construction real estate and professional insurance industries. Her passion is leadership through collaborative work with all of SimuTech’s functional areas and team members. Katie has made an impact on SimuTech in many significant ways, including developing best practices and processes company-wide as well as initiating and growing SimuTech’s Inside Sales and Marketing Teams. She also continually develops and expands SimuTech’s sales enablement tools and new hire sales training program. Along with her professional responsibilities, Katie gives back to the Greater Rochester community by volunteering through fitness and charity as well as sharing her family dog at local nursing homes.

John Ilijevski, SimuTech Group Chief Financial Officer

Butch Vision
Vice President of Engineering

Responsibilities: Directs SimuTech’s engineering team in providing simulation consulting services, training, and mentoring via ANSYS simulation software.

Education:
University of Tennessee - MS, Mechanical Engineering
University of Florida - BS, Mechanical Engineering

Background: Butch served as a structural engineer with Pratt & Whitney, where he analyzed and tested engine externals and nozzle components for both military and commercial aircraft engines. In 2001, he moved to Exotic Metals Forming Company, continuing to provide structural analysis of parts in the aerospace industry, expanding his expertise into more airplane components. Butch started as an FEA Consulting Engineer with SimuTech Group in 2007, but quickly moved up the ranks to become Engineering Manager for the West offices. With his promotion to Vice President of Engineering, Butch ensures that all offices of SimuTech provide high quality world class simulation consulting, training, and mentoring.

Responsibilities: Leads the Sales Team on software, consulting and training efforts for SimuTech Group. As a member of the Strategic Leadership Team, contributes to the company's vision, mission, and overall strategy.

Background: Brent brings over 20 years of progressive technical sales and leadership experience. Prior to joining the SimuTech Group team he began his sales career with National Instruments in the Pacific Northwest before moving to Austin, TX where he built and led their highest performing US region for over 12 years. Hallmarks of Brent’s success are an intense focus on delivering value that helps customers be more successful in their businesses, growing sales teams, leading global cross-functional teams as well as developing sales strategy and process.

Background: Jim founded in 1983 one of the original worldwide ANSYS Channel Partners, JLR, which later merged into SimuTech. Jim brings almost 35 years of experience as an ANSYS Channel Partner involved in all aspects of the business, including support, consulting, training, accounting, sales, and marketing. Jim is uniquely qualified to integrate all components of a successful company and deliver value to customers as their trusted advisor.

Background: Victoria brings over 10 years of human resources experience, serving an array of organizations in the professional services and not-for-profit industries. She brings a proven track record to SimuTech Group when it comes to creating and effectively managing organizational process and procedures. Victoria has catalyzed a multi-faceted recruitment and hiring process, structured the onboarding of team members and their benefits and developed professional growth plans so far during her tenure here at SimuTech. She has a passion for coaching and developing team members. She is both certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) as well as Society for Human Resources – Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) Certified.

Background: After excelling in increasingly responsible positions in rotating equipment design, application, and manufacturing, Ken became President of a division of a Fortune 500 company. Starting in 2000, he acquired and led the integration of several independent ANSYS Channel Partners and rebranded as SimuTech Group in 2008. The successful implementation of a world class customer value proposition led to growth and recognition as the largest North American ANSYS Channel Partner. He served as CEO before gaining his current title in 2015.
