Microscanners are used for advanced medical imaging systems (e.g., endoscopes) that can be used inside the human body and for future heads-up displays that project images directly onto the human eye. Determining the appropriate applied excitation voltages and tilt angles of the microscanners have been performed by SimuTech Group using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and piezoelectric material behavior. |
